Exams...

One down - one to go...

Final one tomorrow - not sure how well "Salvation in Christian Reflection" went - in the last question I was being very "imaginative" and sought to argue that an understanding of the relationship between divine forgiveness and human repentance can only be understood along the lines of a rehash of ontology... I used Forsyth and Jungel here but ran out of time before I properly concluded (I mean I wrote a lovely conclusion but I wasn't able to speak on Jungel as much as I would have liked to).

I ended by saying the "gap" between human response to God's forgiveness must echo that of the psalmist:

"How long, LORD? Will you stay hidden forever? Must your wrath smolder like fire?
Remember how brief is my life, how frail the race you created!
What mortal can live and not see death? Who can escape the power of Sheol?"
Psalm 89
